E-Group’s construction project of two logistics halls in the triangle of France, Germany and Switzerland has been successfully completed. The halls were built on 185,000 m² of commercial property in Ensisheim, northern France. The industrial consulting and planning company io consultants GmbH & Co. KG was in charge of project management and control.
The two state-of-the-art logistics halls cover a floor space of 53,000 m² and were built on a 185,000 m² property with direct connection to the A35 freeway. They were handed over to the new lessee by lead consultant GSE after only 15 months of construction. Another multi use warehouse with 50,500 m² of floor space is still available for lease.
io-consultants’ long-standing experience in managing major international projects was a significant success factor in this project. The company impressed its client with its extensive expertise in managing international project landscapes. io-consultants supported its customers on site and was therefore able to implement any necessary corrective measures at an early stage, resulting in the project being delivered on time and within budget. “The use of our own project management systems and tools allowed us to quickly address the customer’s specific requirements and drive the project forward in a focused and targeted way”, says Florian Heimerl, partner at io consultants and member of the management board. The construction progressed smoothly even under challenging Corona conditions.
Both logistics centers are conveniently located close to the borders of France, Germany and Switzerland and were designed with a strong focus on sustainability.
